I can't believe this!! I've been gone for so long.. I used to take photos almost every single day and now it's fallen to the side. It's hard to be active on here without anything new to post!! So now after all this time I'm less than a year away from the big 2-1. Yay alcohol!

I don't even know where to begin. I've finished a year and a half of college. Bryan and I started dating three days after my last journal post. (We broke up in May but are back together now ) We're actually in a very serious relationship. Lots of talk about our future. I can't believe it. I used to think I would never have a real relationship. Ah, what can I say, though? It's easy to think of those things when you've found someone who is so perfect.

There were also some less than pleasant parts. After Bryan and I broke up was a really dark time. Luckily things are better now. My mom was also really sick for a while, to the point where the doctors didn't think she was going to make it. She's still sick but slowly getting better. She's able to go back to work and she's definitely fighting hard! (We're too stubborn of a family to give up )

I have a trip coming up in March. I'll be going to Belize for a week, mostly spending time along the coast. It's through school, so there will actually be some work involved (mostly research). A lot of people have the idea that we're going to spend the week on the beach, drunk as skunks! Well, maybe some of us (there's no drinking age) but somehow I don't think Jeff, our advisor/professor for this trip, is going to be down for that. But who knows? He's pretty awesome. Very laid back.

The really good news about the trip is that I'll probably get a new camera out of the deal and will have lots of (hopefully) gorgeous shots to share with you all! If I get nothing else, I definitely want a camera. I don't care about what I'll wear or what else I'll take with me. This is a chance of a lifetime for and I want to remember EVERYTHING!! (Oh, I think I forgot to mention that my financial aid is paying for every last cent of this trip. This is definitely something I wouldn't have been able to do on my own!)

Anyway, I suppose that's all I have for now. I actually got online to work on some homework so I should probably do that. Take care!
